I'm an avid fan of all things endurance. As Owner & Head Coach of the Mighty Grind Endurance Systems, I strive to bring that love and knowledge to all athletes. I’m a Certified Professional Triathlon Coach with 5 years of coaching experience. I’m also a USMS Level 3 Certified swim coach, and have been coaching at Milford Athletic Club (MAC) since 2014. I coach swimmers, triathletes, and ultra runners.
Fitness and endurance are my passion. I’ve completed Ironman Cozumel, Ironman Zurich, Michigan Titanium 140.6, as well as several other triathlons. On the open water swimming side, I’ve completed the Mighty Mac Swim (across the Mackinaw Straights) twice and can't wait to do it again. I’ve also completed the 10 mile Kingdom Swim in VT twice and other shorter distances races.
My husband and ultra runner, Gary, and I were married in 2013. We live in Howell, with 4 cats (Lucy, Sheldon, Ike & Stewie), 1 dog (Nigel) and a lizard (Oliver). I’ve worked in the auto industry for more than 25 years, and am currently employed with Tenneco Clean Air Division.
My passions are being out in nature and lifting heavy! I'm an experienced ultra runner, and have completed the 100 miler at Run Woodstock, as well as several 50k, 50 mile and 100k races. I feel most at home on the trails, experiencing all nature has to offer. I've also competed in the Michigan Titanium 140.6 and Grand Rapids 70.3 triathlons, as well as having completed the 10 mile open water Kingdom Swim in VT.
I'm certified by NASM as a functional training coach, am owner and head coach at TRV|FIT Ann Arbor, and can bring the strength and conditioning aspect to your training that you need.
I live in Howell, with my beautiful wife, Maria, and the menagerie of animals that she loves to adopt. I'm employed at RF Events, as the Operations Manager, and am also the race director for the Run Woodstock 100 Mile and 100K races.
I would love to get to know you, your passions and your goals, and help you not just chase those goals, but to blow them out of the water!
